Welcome to my online portfolio. Here, you'll find insights into my unique journey as a strategist in Higher Education. My diverse personal, academic, and professional journey, which has taken me from France and Greece, to Britain, the United States, Canada, and back to Britain, reflects my curiosity and passion for learning, collaboration, and impactful change for a human-centred and diverse education.

I am a Higher Education strategist commited to transforming education during a time of rapid digital evolution, climate crisis and evolving expectations of universities. My experience across academic and professional services roles provides me with an international perspective on global developments in education and insightful questions (unique answers) on sustainable growth for the field.

Born in France and raised in Athens, Greece, I received a French secondary education before completing my degree in Greek Philology/Classics at the University of Athens. At the University of Oxford, I earned an MPhil in Late Antique and Byzantine Studies (2010) and a DPhil in Medieval and Modern Languages (2013), focusing on Byzantine cultural history, social networks and education as a path for social mobility. I have since complemented this academic foundation with professional training in learning design, programme management (MSP® certified), strategic leadership and corporate sustainability aiming to create lasting positive impact in education and the wider society.

As an academic, I’ve conducted research and taught at prestigious institutions, including Harvard University (Dumbarton Oaks), Princeton University (Art & Archaeology), University of Toronto (PIMS), Oxford University (Classics), and the University of Edinburgh (History, Classics, and Archaeology), to name a few. My research has been supported by prestigious organisations including the A. Onassis Foundation, A.G. Leventis Foundation, A.W. Mellon Foundation, and the Mary Jaharis Centre for Byzantine Art & Culture.

Moving into education technology, I helped enhance on-campus learning as a Learning Technologist at the University of Leeds (Arts, Humanities and Cultures), where I worked with academics to combine traditional and digital teaching approaches. As Educational Adviser for Sciences at the University of York, I focused on programme design and digital transformation of learning, teaching, and assessment.

Currently, as a Deputy Faculty Manager for Science at Durham University, I lead strategic initiatives in education, internationalisation, and digital transformation.
